LOOK AT SOME WEB SITES, and you would think there is a prize for whoever can place the most graphics on a page! Kids sites are the worst, and some of the biggest, most powerful names rank right up there with them. For my money, I'll take a fast, easy to navigate site over a circus any day . . . time is money ! Below are some stock graphic images clients are welcome to, and we can almost always create any graphic you want (on our own equipment . . . "We Be Bad" . . . and we can spend your money !

However, graphics obviously have an important place in your web site.

The best research you can do is CRUISE ! Go to all of your competitions web sites, try odd lookup's in search engines to find fresh ideas, and pay attention to other advertising medium's. Also, you must consider the audience your marketing to; kids want action, executives want facts, high-school males want . . . . never mind . . . What strikes you as good, is what you hope to build ( as if it was just that easy . . . ).

You can use graphics to make a menu, and when the user clicks a graphic, they go to a new page. There are many options for using this technique, but there are some constraints as well. This also can increase the price of your project as these are usually made to order designs.

 

Graphic horizontal bars can also be used to separate your page or add style.

Banners can be made on top of graphics too - again, this is custom work. A banner can have a "HOT SPOT" for navigation .. . click a spot to visit a new page ...
